Entry Information

European Risk Manager of the Year
This category is open to any individual who currently has responsibility for corporate risk management and whose work in 2011 has achieved a significant difference for his or her organisation.

European Risk Management Team of the Year
This category is open to risk management teams who achieved demonstrable success with one or more initiatives in 2011.

Enterprise-wide Risk Programme of the Year
This category is open to any organisation has introduced an enterprise risk management approach in 2011.

Best Risk Communication of the Year
This category is open to organisations that can show that they implemented an effective and outstanding risk communication strategy which raised awareness of risk, resulting in improved risk treatment in 2011 internally, externally or both.

Most Innovative Use of IT or other Technology
This category is open to organisations which have introduced new technology or improved existing technology to produce a demonstrable benefit for their risk management programme or strategies in 2011.

Best Business Continuity Approach of the Year
This category is open to companies who can show that they initiated or implemented a well thought-out new business continuity approach in 2011 that reflected current challenges

Best Risk Training Programme
This award is for organisations that have introduced a demonstrably effective risk training programme in 2011.

Best Risk Management Approach in the Public Sector
Judges will reward public sector bodies that can demonstrate a comprehensive, successful and cost-effective risk management initiative in 2011 either across the entire organisation or focusing on a particular aspect. Amateur

Risk Management Product of the Year
This is open to any organisation that has developed or improved a risk management product in 2011.

Risk Management Young Achiever of the Year
This is open to risk professionals up to the age of 35 in the private and public sector who can demonstrate that they have made a significant contribution to their organisation's risk.

Lifetime Achiever of the Year
This award will be given to the individual(s) who has been an outstanding contributor to risk management not only within their own organisation but in the wider risk management community and/or commerce and industry at large. Nominations can be from the individuals themselves, their colleagues, associates with whom they work, such as consultancies and brokers, or European national risk management associations.
