In my opinion...

A measured response

A key problem for companies is how to respond should a disaster strike, particularly where loss of life may be the potential result of mishandling the situation. Should they err on the side of caution which often may be financially punitive – or should they take less stringent action? The danger with the latter is severe regulatory action and reputational damage should measures prove inadequate.
